I was employed on a six month contract to assist with the launch of six new lingerie websites, under the Wacoal Europe Group. Attention to detail, time management and the ability to learn quickly were key to successfully building, editing, testing and proofreading the websites.
Over two years I worked in seven
different jobs across the hospitality, retail and food processing industries, demonstrating my ability to adapt and willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks, no matter how mundane.

Tesco F&F + Nutmeg Office
Visual Merchandiser
As part of an industrial placement programme, I worked for a year as a display coordinator for Tesco Express stores. The main focus of my role was to improve the layout and visual appearance of products in-store. This involved communicating with a wide range of suppliers and buyers to create effective plans in order to improve the performance of products and generate an easier and satisfying shopping experience for customers.
I gained insight into the role of a visual merchandiser during work experience at supermarket clothing labels F&F and Nutmeg. I learnt key principles and applied visual techniques to in-store layouts.
Approachable customer service skills and attention to detail were both developed when serving customers and maintaining displays at Office.

Degree Show Organiser Visual Merchandiser Volunteer Assistant
Nottingham Trent University Debra Charity Shop Pretty Dandy
Pretty Dandy held a vintage flea market in which I assisted in promotion, set-up and customer service. This consisted of; flyering, distributing posters, documenting the event on the day through social media, making decorations and welcoming customers.
During my final year at University, I led a team of 11 students in the design and creation of our end of year degree show, showcasing a selection of 120 students work. Organisation was key to achieving this; setting deadlines, planning meetings and assigning and overseeing tasks. Communication skills were also further developed, keeping tutors, fellow team members and students informed.
education
To help Debra attract younger customers I changed window displays, dressed mannequins and re-organised layouts in-store to create a more appealing aesthetic. In addition, I arranged a two-day vintage stall to grab the attention of passing shoppers.
